Position Overview

As a Demand Planning Team Lead for End to End Supply Chain, you will assume responsibility either for multiple customer accounts or for one major customer account (i.e. one of the top three customers for C&S), from an ad management and turn forecasting perspective. In this role, you will be accountable for managing the customer relationship from all aspects of ad demand planning as well as working with internal partners, such as Procurement teams, to ensure that service and inventory targets are met. You will also be responsible for participating in the development and implementation of data-driven business solutions and optimization initiatives to support service level and inventory value targets. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing new processes, technologies, and organizational plans/realignments.


  • Responsible for leading and coaching a team of 8-10 salaried and hourly personnel to achieve service level, leftover ad, and over pull goals as put forth by department management.

  • Proactively manage the end to end promotional ad process, including forecasting and distribution management.

  • Serve as the primary customer interface for all ad, turn, and distribution-related matters for multiple small customers or one major customer or a combination of both.

  • Report past, current, and future promotional activity and results to internal/external correspondents and senior management to help drive future improvements.

  • Develop and enhance business reporting tools, identify opportunities to optimize systems, processes, efficiencies within Procurement, and support implementation of solutions.

  • Participate in cross-functional team projects, as needed.

  • Work approximately 4 weekend days per year, with some flexibility during holiday periods.

  • Additional tasks as defined/required.

  • Some travel as needed (less than 25%).


  • Associate's degree or equivalent

  • Two to three years' business experience

  • One to two years' C&S or related experience

  • Functional knowledge of statistical forecasting; retail forecasting experience

  • Previous experience managing direct reports

  • High-level intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills; data analysis experience

  • Able to work independently
