As a Fleet Maintenance Parts Coordinator , you will be responsible for maintaining complete & accurate master part catalog configuration in the asset management software. You will work closely with the field maintenance teams and the finance team to ensure compliance with national contracts and weekly financial reporting. You will collaborate with the strategic sourcing team to leverage national purchasing volume to support part sourcing and warranty recovery initiatives.
Configure and maintain the master parts catalog used to setup all local shop inventory
Configure part catalog for compliance with national account purchasing parameters
Create, prioritize and manage part catalog changes
Cross reference, superseded, substitute part numbers
Primary and alternate vendors
Bid pricing and expiration dates
Warranty configuration (after-market parts)
Serialized parts setup
Collaborate with finance team to ensure proper account code configurations
Setup new part & service supply vendors in conjunction with the accounts payable team to ensure proper translation to the Oracle accounting system
Coordinate quarterly shop inventory activities and reporting to the transportation finance team
Participate in strategic sourcing activities by supplying data needed to initiate RFP process
Perform data audits to ensure all information is accurate and consistent
Actively seek system and process improvements
Provide analytical support for part failure analysis and predictive maintenance initiatives
Support impals and documentation of configuration & process changes
Education: High school education required. Associates degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or Related Fields preferred
Experience: 2+ years of parts room, inventory management, or purchasing experience recommended. Vehicle service writer experience or commercial vehicle maintenance experience a plus
Vehicle maintenance systems, commercial truck components, D.O.T. repair regulations
Microsoft Excel plus stronganalyticaland organization skills. High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to travel 10%-15% to other locations to support company initiatives.
