As a Route Jumper, you will work in a warehouse, putting freight away and keeping floors clean. In this role, you will also fill in for truck drivers as needed, jumping on a route for a day(s) or week(s) at a time, delivering product to stores.
Work first shift in the warehouse putting freight away, keeping floors clean & swept
Fill in on truck to deliver when regular driver is off or on vacation
Pre-Trip and post trip inspections according to Federal D.O.T. standards and Davidson Policies.
Drive, make deliveries & or pickups in our trucks in a responsible & safe manner.
Follow set route list.
Responsible for invoices & paperwork.
Pickup damages & or credits at our stores.
Be responsible for any damage to our trucks, trailers & or the product carried on it.
Have log book & trip record filled out completely & turned in by Monday Morning.
Knowledge of all D.O.T. Rules and Regulations.
Must be willing to work overtime on short notice.

High school diploma or equivalent; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Language Skills – Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence
Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations – Must Have a Class A, B or C Commercial Drivers License as well as a current medical card on them at all times
