As the Regional Field Support Tech, you will implement all strategies for the IS operations and provide technical guidance of IS procedures for the warehouse operation.
Guide, train and plan associates daily work schedules to ensure daily, weekly and monthly goals are met.
Monitor incident and request management queues to ensure all work is completed.
Acts as a mentor and provides training for Associate Field Support Technician.
Provide technical support for facilities as needed (24/7).
Perform installation and support of highly technical systems such as; wireless networks, mobile computing and RF equipment, print technology, servers and tape backup systems. Handle complex operations and technical problems requiring judgment and latitude for independent action.
Project Management of warehouse technology initiatives and service providers. Oversee roll-outs and installation of technology as required for projects ranging from medium to large in size and complexity. Resolve issues and drive projects to completion. Research new technology andderive guidelines on how technology will best suit company needs.
Provide desktop services support as needed. Determine root cause of PC failures through technical analysis and take appropriate corrective action to resolve the issue.
Perform preventive maintenance on technology infrastructure including, wireless networks, mobile computing equipment, and wireless data collection equipment, servers, and backup sub-systems.
Provide infrastructure support services as necessary. Evaluate potential business impact and prioritizes responses accordingly. Initiates appropriate corrective action to mitigate negative business impact.
High School Diploma, associates degree or equivalent work experience preferred
7-10 years in related field support role
Wireless technology, PC’s, servers, networking, telecommunications, mobile computing equipment, printers & other peripherals
“CompTIA A+”, “CompTIA Network+” preferred
Current valid driver’s license in good standing, personal and reliable transportation
