Position Overview

As part of the Talent and Organizational Development COE, the Learning Leader partners closely with the various business functions to design and deliver professional trainings and resources that impact and support the business toward achieving its strategic objectives. The Learning Leader is directly responsible for creating and delivering effective learning solutions to advance the skills and knowledge of C&S's employees.

Job Description


  • Assess the current learning infrastructure to identify needs, gaps and opportunities; make recommendations to continuously enhance the programs; and prioritize high value and business critical learning initiatives

  • Design, develop, deliver, maintain, and update learning, training and development materials, consulting and in close collaboration with subject matter experts (SME) on a regular basis to ensure information accuracy

  • Evaluate the effectiveness and the quality of trainings through formal and informal methods. This includes collecting and reporting on data gathered to inform program development and maintain relevance to job skills

  • Identify external resources to support content design and development needs; manage vendor relationships and contracts

  • Complete other duties as assigned and support ad-hoc learning, training, and development projects

  • Specialized Knowledge: adult learning styles, curriculum development, training design principles

  • Special Skills: Excellent communication skills (oral & written); Ability to interact with all levels of employees and management; Strong influencing skills; Strong and effective facilitation and presentation skills, including the ability to gain and retain the attention and involvement of sophisticated and challenging audiences; Excellent consultative skills and ability to manage client relationships; Ability to develop engaging and effective training curriculum to provide essential knowledge and enhance user adoption

  • Other: Advanced PC skills and desktop applications expertise; Proficient in eLearning or performance support technology and production, Captivate, etc.

Years Of Experience

  • 5-7: years of overall related experience, a minimum of 3 years of experience in training design, development, delivery and facilitation of online and instructor led training. Experience working within a Learning Management System, Workday Learning preferred.


Bachelor's Degree, Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) - American Society for Training & Development
