Position Overview

The Sr. Analyst, Private Brands will provide business awareness and recommendations to internal decision-makers and stakeholders through the timely creation of various metrics and ad-hoc reporting to highlight meaningful data and actionable intelligence. The position's work in this capacity is invaluable toward: capturing sales, improving margin and EBITDA, understanding vendor performance, understanding distribution performance, improving customer (retailer & shopper) experience, addressing declining product/category trends, and establishing brand identity.

Description

• Conduct daily analytics for private brand business including product, category and basket costs, margins, accruals, patronage, EBITDA, etc.

• Create metrics and ad-hoc reporting

• Scorecard and monitor key performance metrics targeted at process improvement and standardization

• Interpret analytics into meaningful and actionable insights

• Manage special projects including fact finding, data gathering, systems integration and analysis to support private brand business, sales and category product management functions

• Provide analytical support, project management and presentation development for senior leadership

• Manage day-to-day interaction with strategic partners, vendors, customers & Topco through conference calls and face to face meetings

• Travel Required: Yes

Skills

• Special Skills : Professional verbal and written communication skills; Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; Advanced proficiency with Excel preferred; Experience with SQL; Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize; Ability to gather data, determine requirements and conduct analysis; Strong analytical skills; Strong resilience; Strong learning mindset; Ability to think outside the box
