Position Overview

The Manager, Business Development is responsible for new business development and building revenue generating plans to grow the business and new accounts. Executes on long-term strategic plans for the growth of the organization. Assists in the development of strategies for identifying and responding to business development opportunities, which may include internal expansion or external expansion into untapped markets. Develops and maintains positive relationships with partners across the organization. Gathers data from the center of excellence in assisting with evaluating new business opportunities or assessing potential markets, geographies and channels. Supports the preparation of proposals, reports (customer segmentation/prioritization), or presentations demonstrating the potential value of new business opportunities.

  • Develop, implement, and execute sales prospecting plans and manage associated related projects.

  • Establishing and maintaining a pipeline of prospective new customers and associated opportunities through competitive intellect, relationship building, participation in food shows, customer meetings, and trade events.

  • Research prospective customer trends and needs to establish sound solutions for potential deals

  • Understand the C&S value proposition to effectively sell C&S solutions

  • Assist with the closure of new business deals by coordinating business and customer requirements and assisting with the negotiation of contracts

  • Effectively transition new accounts to CXT teams with the support of the center of excellence

  • Travel Required: Yes

Qualifications
