Position Overview

As a Procurement Pricing Clerk , you will develop, maintain and communicate all Direct Store Delivery sale programs and data entry functions.

Responsibilities

The Retail Pricing Clerk is responsible for work flow organization with heavy data entry, in a highly structured, accuracy focused environment. Specific duties include development and management of multiple pricing files, daily/weekly advertisement data entry of multiple planners and maintenance of all related files. Additionally, the “Pricing-Advertising Specialist” will process charges to manufactures and assist with writing of ad and data entry of advertisements as assigned.

  • Review and maintenance of Retails for those customers in the SRP Retail software.

  • Implementation and Maintenance of multiple Strategic Retail Strategies that cover different Marketing areas within the GS service area.

  • Review and validation of Customer Order Guides, Weekly Cost, and Allowance information and related data that is printed and or posted to the GS Independent Retail group.

  • Customer support for questions relating to Item setup, Cost, and Allowance integrity.

  • Customer contact when the department Manager is absent.

  • Special projects related to Customer conversion, Competition Cost compare, and related assignments. Excel spreadsheet maintenance. Responds to customer, along with duties assigned by manager.

  • Assist in Billings and tracking deals

  • Assist with Super Serve Data entry

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 4 year Business Degree or equivalent

  • 5 years Retail Industry experience

  • Practical experience in food store operations

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook. Adaptability to various custom software applications

  • Strong oral and written communication

  • Exceptional leadership skills

  • Previous Data Entry experience necessary
