Position Overview

The Sr. Manager, Ad and Promotion Support will partner with Buying and Sales to identify and solve business opportunities through the development of insight based, shopper relevant strategies and programs. He/she will work collaboratively with key CPG companies to solve business opportunities with a shopper first mindset.

Job Description

  • Partner with CPG companies to develop and help manage sales driving brand building and promotional strategies.

  • Understand retail and marketing industry trends/ best practices.

  • Create post analysis reporting and communicate results to internal and external audiences.

  • Create a plan, promotion or sales event for Ad Group stores and/or key retailers.

  • Coordinate across all departments to develop sales events and promotions.

  • Organize efforts of Purchasing, Shelf Management, and SRP departments to develop programs which help retailers achieve profitable sales.

  • Direct and establish programs with Retail Services, Sales, and Print Shop to develop Omni channel platforms for retailers.

  • Develop full marketing and promotional programs. (order process, vendor commitment, retailer execution, sign package, etc.).

  • Develop and maintain strong market relationships and negotiate strategies with vendors.

  • Acts as liaison and foster collaboration with other departments within the company

  • Using knowledge of the industry, create programs to drive profitable sales for the retailer and Grocers Supply.

  • Direct and manage strategic retail pricing programs for retailers.
