Position Overview

The Director of Sales is responsible for working collaboratively with customers to improve their

experience with C&S and help them stay relevant within our industry and fiscally healthy as an

Independent Retailer. This role will ensure that a dedicated cross-functional team delivers our regional

EBITDA and revenue targets, drives productivity and continues to engage both internal and external

customers with growth opportunities. This role will also supervise the activities of sales and service

personnel to maximize the customer experience.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Directs the activities of the CXT sales team, providing leadership and motivation

necessary to implement effective sales and relationship strategies

• Develops and maintains relationships with key customers in order to grow

purchase concentration ratio all while maintaining customer advocacy

• Supports customer’s business strategy by providing/maintaining the highest

level of service and C&S solutions to enable growth for both the customer and

C&S

• Ensures the development and growth of the sales team by utilizing hands-on

training and continuing educational services offered both internally and

externally

• Responsible for communicating to sales team on regional sales results, market

trends and shifts in the industry

• Coalesces cross functional team to deliver on customer experience and

identified key performance indicators through continued customer education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.

• 10 years experience in sales or customer development

• Wholesale distributor experience a plus

• Well developed interpersonal and communication skills
