Position Overview

As the Manager of Operations, HR , you will report directly to the VP, Human Resources and primarily responsible for delivery of seamless, high quality HR operational services through a shared services model. This role serves as the hub for all operational aspects of the employee call center and HR operations teams including leadership in the areas of employee lifecycle, relocation programs, immigration, departmental budgets, and HR policy. Our ideal candidate must have robust experience building and refining processes and policies to support a successful human resources shared service delivery model and should bring thought leadership, influence, and expertise in Human Resources disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high level of support and collaboration across multiple sites/regions, driving a “One HR” approach for operational processes and transactions.

  • Partner with COEs to implement technology and process enhancements to drive operational efficiencies, such as case management system, employee portal, and onboarding solutions.

  • Own the documentation and publication of all HR policies, in partnership with the HR process owners/subject matter experts

  • Drive the resolution of escalated issues as well as recommendations for enhancements to HR operational procedures/processes and related technology.

  • Manage internal process audits and control implementations from the HR side, in partnership with compliance team.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with a cross functional group of strategic internal partners, retaining a strong customer-focused mindset while ensuring adherence to policies and delivery of an exceptional employee experience to employees at all levels

  • Develop a set of key metrics, process and performance indicators that align with organization goals, operational strategies and plans and hold his/her team accountable for achieving those metrics.

  • Foster a team culture that embraces innovation, continuous improvement and change.

  • Implement process improvement initiatives which result in improved customer metrics and cost efficiency.

  • Manage staff and budgets for associated HR activities and projects.

Qualifications

  • Our ideal candidate must have robust experience building and refining processes and policies to support a successful human resources shared service delivery model and should bring thought leadership, influence, and expertise in Human Resources disciplines.

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years of management experience to include operational oversight, ideally of a function in Human Resources such as HRIS, leave management, payroll, or benefits administration

  • Experience working in a managerial role in an HR shared service environment preferred; previous experience creating/implementing a shared service center is strongly preferred.

  • Proven ability to attract, develop, motivate and retain a high-performing team of professionals.

  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrate a collaborative, inclusive, and collegial leadership style; personal integrity; good judgment; intellectual curiosity; superior communication skills; resilience; and commitment to the mission of a high performing team.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization and inspire diverse teams

  • Strong business acumen & project management experience.

  • Experience analyzing and managing performance driven by metrics.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and HR systems (preferably Workday and Service Now)
