Our Drivers hit the highways each day with a loaded truck. But it’s more than just driving and delivering — details matter — from safety to weighing, logging, inspecting, reporting, and securing. It’s efficient, on-the-road, on-time, customer-serving, loading-and-unloading work. That’s how we get thousands of products delivered to our valued customers.
As a Driver , you will maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through deliveries of product and services while performing all other assigned duties. All functions must be completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Drive a tractor-trailer (semi-truck/eighteen-wheeler) combination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations, to transport and deliver products
Make an average of 6-8 stops per day; pallets can consist of all types of products
Maneuver truck into loading or unloading position
Weigh truck as needed en-route and/or at vendors to document weight and conform to state/company regulations
Electronic logging according to I.C.C. regulations
Inspect truck before and after trips and submit report indicating truck condition
Read bill of lading to determine assignment
Secure load on trailer prior to transporting
Representing the company in a positive manner with our customers
May load or unload, or assists in loading and unloading truck using a pallet jack and/or dolly
Deliver all returned product and empty totes back to the warehouse daily
Comply with FMCSR/DOT/Company policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned
Hours may vary based on business needs which include evenings and weekends
Minimum age 21 years old
Class A CDL driver’s license
One year of recent tractor-trailer experience
Must be DOT certified
Class A Commercial Driver’s License
Valid Department Of Transportation Physical Exam
Quality and customer-service focused; enjoy working with people
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Compliance with all company policies and procedures
Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
