Position Overview

As a District Manager - you will be responsible for the daily supervision of all merchandisers and salespersons assigned to your territory - ensuring customer needs are met. This role woks in correspondence with our Regional Managers.

Job Description


  • Collect & verify Merchandiser’s weekly schedules

  • Visit stores to ensure sales representative is completing all of their responsibilities

  • Approve Salespeople and Merchandiser vacation requests

  • Formally evaluate merchandiser’s annually

  • Hiring/Firing of Merchandiser’s & Salespeople

  • Answer directly to the Regional Manager

  • Coordinates projects; Communicates changes and progress; Completes projects on time and budget.

  • Responsible for all facets of business in district.

  • Accurately maintain sales route schedules.

  • Conduct weekly sales meeting with field team.

  • Disseminate new information, i.e., New Items, Distros, ETC.

  • Schedule coverage for sales routes, (i.e. vacation, sick days, etc) store resets & remodels. Collect store information from: i.e. store survey forms, etc.

  • Resolve store issues that cannot be resolved by salesperson, Evaluate monthly sales figures & address any issues.

  • Special Skills : Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers.
