Position Overview

The End User Support Tech III provides exceptional technology support to end-users of the company by maintaining the daily operations of the Workstation Engineering and Depot services area as well as providing customer service through consulting, installation, support and troubleshooting with the end-user community. This role is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the desktop computing environment and services and participates in end user MAC (moves, adds, changes) activity.

Description

  • Responsible for daily operations of the Workstation Engineering and Depot services area as well as total functional support of the end-user community

  • Troubleshoot PC Hardware break/fix issues and software issues

  • Deploy and recover PC Hardware

  • Install and upgrade software applications

  • Ensure Asset database is regularly updated and accurate

  • Interact with, and direct support of, executive level employees

  • Evaluate, recommend, and order various products and/or services, with approval

  • Provide training in various Desktop Support areas

  • Assist with Project work, as needed

  • Travel Required:Yes

Environment

  • Office : Office Temperature (65F to 75F)

Skills

  • Specialized Knowledge : Position also requires knowledge of Asset Lifecycle Management methodologies. Experience with end-user MAC (moves, adds, changes).

  • Special Skills : A high level of customer service skills and end user focus is required on a daily basis. A high level of organizational and time management skills.

  • Physical abilities: : Ability to lift 50 pounds

  • Other: : Occasional weekends and participation in an on-call rotation.
