As a Customer Support Technician IV , you will be responsible for technical installation, application training of Best Practice use, supporting and trouble shooting software and hardware products deployed in our Retailer and CSRTS HQ environment.
Help Desk Level One support of applications & hardware deployed in our Customer Retailer sites.
Support calls assigned will require good phone communication skills to interpret a Retailer reported issue, find resolution (collaborate with in-house Technical Specialists, CSRTS team), or escalate the problem and ultimately deliver a solution back to the reporting Customer. Execution and follow through are required.
Good verbal and written communication, which will include previous grocery retail POS or equivalent is necessary.
Implementation and support of CSRTS internal processes that includes trouble shooting and application break / fix for all programs including all CSRTS HOST and data integration from C&S to our Supported Retailers.
Special projects that include software release testing in our CSRTS lab along with application documentation (internal and external) will be assigned.
Assigned duties will require knowledge of basic programming that includes scripts.
Installs and configures all integrated Software and Hardware (End to End) at the customer site.
Provide basic application training that includes Best Practice use of all installed software.
Site surveys that will provide best recommended solutions based on customer size and scope. Participation in CSRTS Tech EXPO training and presentation sessions.
Preferred Grocery Retail experience (or related), specializing in Grocery Point of Sale or Store Networking and related software applications.
Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Visual Basic, HTML (website design/support) and other MS Office applications.
