This person will oversee the safe operation, repairs, and preventative maintenance of equipment within facility. Provide assistance to Supervisor/Manager of Maintenance to ensure assets are managed in accordance with the following: Equipment/parts manufacturers, equipment/parts suppliers, EPA, OSHA and applicable State and Local Codes.
$2,500 Sign On Bonus
Ability to perform most requirements to plan, requisition materials, assemble and install machines and equipment such as conveyors, racks, doors, dock equipment, curtains, fencing, guards etc. May require assistance from Level II Warehouse Mechanic.
Ability to perform diagnostics, repairs and/or report corrective measures for malfunctioning equipment and systems and communicate with employer & Level II Warehouse Mechanic. Limits in experience and/or skills may require assistance from Level II Warehouse Mechanic.
Ability to perform daily and weekly inspections of all systems' components to insure proper operation and system integrity.
Ability to safely start systems, observe operation, read gauges and instruments, and perform adjustments as required for the proper operation of equipment and systems.
Ability to develop and perform preventative maintenance procedures for mechanical systems and perform preventative tasks as required by equipment manufacturer.
Ability to read and understand manuals, plans, and drawings in the performance of the job requirements.
Ability and willingness to prepare for certificate programs in hydraulics, pneumatics and welding.
Possess thorough knowledge of Lockout/Tagout requirements.
Ability to read, understand and follow MSDS facts and requirements.
Ability to work as a team member with minimal supervision.
