As an Associate Recruiter, you will recruit and select candidates for our critical hourly and high volume roles. You will learn from and work closely with multiple business units to plan, coordinate, and implement recruiting strategies to acquire the best quality talent in the local region. You will maintain a quality candidate sourcing pipeline for key positions and proactive growth, and make intelligent hiring recommendations based recruitment best practices.
Recruit hourly, non-exempt hires for multiple roles and functions across a region or specific facility.
Source and thoroughly evaluate candidates; check personal qualifications against job requirements.
Develop relationships with hiring managers and other stakeholders leaders to establish recruitment profiles.
Partner closely with on-site HR teams to improve first day processes and new-hire experience.
Qualify candidates via thorough screening techniques, skills assessments, and background checks
Provide an aggressive hiring plan; build confidence and credibility with hiring managers; present candidate synopsis and recommendations to hiring managers.
Coordinate on-site interviews; conduct, analyze, and discuss reference checks with hiring managers.
Finalize offers to candidates; coordinate on-boarding.
Use and maintain applicant tracking system; EEO compliance tracking.
Special projects when necessary.
Specialized Knowledge : Must possess excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills with a can do attitude and desire to excel; strong presentation skills. Strong organizational, analytical skills, and problem solving ability.
Sense of urgency, resourcefulness, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where collaboration is key. Ability to prioritize when presented with multiple 'top priority' situations.
Ability to represent the company as an employer of choice; to extend the brand in the marketplace and to share the culture and opportunity in everything you do.
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other applications. Familiarity with Workday applicant tracking system a plus.
